What to Expect

Feeding:

In the more than 45 years we have kenneled dogs, we have learned that a very high quality lamb, pro-biotic, flax seed and rice kibble topped with freshly cooked chicken prepared daily by the owner goes a long way to keeping our boarders relaxed and happy. Please let us know if your dog requires a special diet.

Care:

At least one of the owners and/or a very capable kennel manager lives at the facility and are usually present to monitor the kennel. Our experience with canine behavior helps to enable us to maintain a serene and comfortable environment.

Training or Exercise:

Exercise and handling of your pets is an option if requested. Please let us know on or prior to check-in if you would like your animal trained and/or exercised

Our Boarding Facility

We are located in a quiet and peaceful setting in the Sierra foothills, just a short distance from the city of Oakdale, CA. Our facility is surrounded by a beautiful walnut orchard and is just a stone’s throw away from the beautiful Stanislaus River.Our clients are comprised of local residents and people from the bay area and beyond. If you are exploring the Gold Country or traveling to Yosemite, you will find that our location is very convenient.

Our Staff

We have an experienced staff that draws from 45 years experience in dog boarding and training. Sheldon and Barbara Twer are experienced trainers and caregivers of dogs of all breeds. An additional trained staff member assists in the boarding operation as well as training
